Darell D. Hayes is a junior, pursuing a dual major in Legal Studies and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). His interest government, law, and acting began years ago when he wrote a letter to President Clinton urging him “to help his mommy” and then pretended to be President Clinton, delivering his famous “State of the Toy Room” address. With his boyish good looks, charm, and camera-friendly smile, Hayes found his calling playing character witnesses ranging from a bum who could not recall their names to an HIV patient who was unable to make love to his wife. |

Lindsay B. Mandel is a senior at CMC, pursuing a full major in Literature and a dual major in Government. Lindsay has been an actress for as long as she can remember but decided to give up her frivolous, sometimes scandalous, roles on the stage to follow her second grade dream: acting in the courtroom. After putting in time as a crime scene investigator, chief of police, head of internal affairs, sergeant in the US Army, and forest ranger, Lindsay is looking forward to letting her hair down this year and bringing in those all-important points. |

Julia H. Wilson is a junior at Claremont McKenna College, pursuing a dual major in History and Government. She is also on the road to leadership, thanks to her participation in Claremont McKenna's well-esteemed Leadership Sequence. Her interest in government began about eight years ago when she realized that, at age 12, she would make a better president than the younger Bush. It is in this year that she began an intensive campaign to lower the voting age to 12. She regretfully gave up this campaign in 2006. Today, Julia spends her time hamming up the mock trial scene as various character witnesses. On a more serious note, Julia H. interned this summer at the criminal department of New York State Supreme Court, adding a well-deserved air of authority to her role on CMC MT. |

Martin Gilbert is referring to himself in the third person. He is also currently a senior, an Economics and Legal Studies dual major, and a budding harmonica virtuoso. He also enjoys mock trial, loud music, puns, objectivism, mock trial, snow, brightly colored shoes, and mock trial. This year he intends to bring glory to CMC with his exceptionally talented teammates. |

Roxanne N. Phen is a junior at Claremont McKenna College pursuing a dual major in Economics and Film Studies with an Ethics sequence. Roxanne has no plans to become a lawyer, but enjoys suiting up and wearing fake glasses. She came for the public speaking experience and stayed for the mock trial shindigs. Her primary duties include taxi driver, moral compass and snack purchaser. Also, she occasionally presents opening statements and cross examines alleged experts. She wonders how she got roped into doing this for the last 7 years… |

Abhi M. Nemani is a junior at Claremont McKenna College, pursuing a dual major in Mathematics and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). His interest in government began about four years ago when he watched four seasons straight of The West Wing. Then came Boston Legal. Now, he spends most of his (and the team's) time in objection arguments, pushing all-loss time to and past its limit—the Alan Shore length and style closings don't help either. |
