Developing and maintaining a competitive program is difficult, especially considering the small size of Claremont McKenna College. We barely managed to fund a program of 20 students over the past few years with a budget a fraction of that of larger schools such as UCLA or USC. Traveling to tournaments and preparing case materials is expensive, and we've relied on the student government funding thus far. With the demands placed on the student government by other campus organizations they cannot provide more funding than the current level, but moving ahead, we expect increased student interest and recruitment because of our success. More students want the opportunity to participate, and we don't want to turn them away. We need your help to ensure that we have the resources to provide a enriching and education legal experience to every student who wants it.
